"Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without." - Confucius

This year we took part in many Grand Prix at scenic roads and tracks. There is one special race coming up on 31st October, which cannot be beaten in terms of the number of wheels rolling on it. Grand Prix d’Horlogerie Genève, the 14th edition of the prestigious celebration of fine-watchmaking is announcing winners from the 72 pre-selected contestants in 16 categories at the Grand Théâtre de Genève. Like generally, GPHG has travelled all these exceptional pieces to four major cities around the world, New Delhi, Beijing, Geneva and London in order to promote the program and of course Swiss watchmaking.

The jury headed by the well-known vintage timepiece expert Aurel Bacs must have had fun, but possibly serious headaches, too, when naming the best of the best.

Why not give them a hand? – vote for the one piece you love the most on GPHG’s website to take your favorite to the top. In addition, you could also win a Girard-Perregaux, Vintage 1945 XXL Petite Seconde in return.

We have seen most of these astonishing timekeepers throughout the year, let me show you our subjective selection.
