A unique Nautilus timepiece offered by Patek Philippe on the occasion of the Children Action 2024 charity gala was auctioned by Phillips, Bacs & Russo in Geneva, on 25 November.
Children Action founded by Bernard Sabrier and based in Geneva runs its own programs or works with partners on the strategic development, implementation, and monitoring of projects (in the topic of Education & Nutrition, Psychosocial support, Teen suicide and more). It is currently active in 9 countries around the world: Argentina, Cameroon, Myanmar, Peru, Switzerland, Sri Lanka, Ukraine and Vietnam.
The Children Action organises charity auction since 1994. As an avid supporter since 2005, Patek Philippe offered a unique piece for the anniversary auction, led by Phillips Bacs & Russo and Christie’s, a hand-engraved Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1500A in steel. The reference has a hand-engraved case, inspired by the artistry of New Zealand’s Māori population, a charcoal grey dial, and a caseback signed with ‘Children Action 2024’.
Yesterday this now discontinued reference achieved a new world record – the unique watch was sold for CHF 6,700,000. The timepiece accompanied by a pair of matching, hand-engraved cufflinks was auctioned by Aurel Bacs from Phillips. Discover more about the one-off Nautilus 5711/1500A here.
