Vacheron Constantin – Les Cabinotiers Solaria Ultra Grand Complication – La Première

The ‘Vacheron Constantin Les Cabinotiers Solaria Ultra Grand Complication – La Première’ is a groundbreaking timepiece with 41 complications, commemorating the brand’s 270th anniversary.

Vacheron Constantin celebrates its 270th anniversary this year. Honouring 270 years of technical and aesthetic mastery, the Maison unveiled the most complicated wristwatch ever created at Watches and Wonders 2025. With 41 complications, this single-piece edition, which is the subject of 13 patent applications, is the result of eight years of research and development. A masterpiece of innovation, it incorporates five astronomical functions never previously combined in watchmaking.

Vacheron Constantin is very well known for grand complications – for its 260th anniversary, the company created the astonishing Reference 57260 which was the most complicated mechanical pocket watch ever created at the time (please see more about it here); the Les Cabinotiers Grand Complication Phoenix with 15 horological complications in 2018; or the Armillary Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar – Planetaria in 2021. Last year, Vacheron presented the Berkley Grand Complication, which consists of 63 horological complications and 2,877 components, thus surpassing the previous record.

The double-sided Les Cabinotiers Solaria Ultra Grand Complication – La Première watch has the new manufacture Calibre 3655 with 1521 components. It is housed in a white gold case with a 45mm diameter and a height of just 14.99mm, a true feat of miniaturisation.
