Hublot announces an exclusive partnership with Christophe Renou. A Meilleur Ouvrier de France (France’s most prestigious distinction for outstanding artisans) and the founder of Renou Genève is a leading figure in contemporary Swiss pâtisserie.

Christophe Renou founded his company in 2017, in Carouge, Geneva. His business became pretty quickly a not-too-secret sanctuary for those want to satisfy their sweet tooth.

Trained by outstanding pastry chefs in France, Christophe Renou moved to Switzerland in the early 2000s. He then represented Switzerland at the World Pastry Cup before being appointed Director of the Valrhona School in Tain‑l’Hermitage. He developed his vision of a conceptual pâtisserie that places the product, the experience, and visual harmony at its core. In 2015, he won the prestigious, century-old Meilleur Ouvrier de France competition
(Best Craftsman of France).

His own production workshop in Carouge, expanded to 400 m² in 2023, represents the ambition to master every stage of the creative process. It now enables a 100% artisanal, local, and daily production, thereby ensuring close proximity to customers. The recent expansion of his network with four new boutiques in Veyrier, Plainpalais, La Halle de Rive, and Eaux‑Vives highlights not only the brand’s growth, but above all the loyalty of a clientele drawn to a modern, expressive, and highly personal approach to pâtisserie.

In October 2025, a first boutique opened in Rolle, followed by another in Nyon at the end of January 2026, marking Renou’s entry into the Canton of Vaud.

Partnership with Hublot

Through its ‘Art of Fusion’ initiative, Hublot explores territories where technical mastery meets the audacity of those who redefine the rules. This dialogue is naturally reflected in the work of Christophe Renou, whose creations combine discipline and expressiveness, architecture and indulgence, apparent simplicity and controlled complexity.

On the occasion of this partnership, Hublot and Renou Genève invite journalists and clients to exclusive events at the chef’s workshop in Carouge, offering them the opportunity to discover his creative universe. These encounters provide an immersive experience into the world of haute pâtisserie and highlight the parallels between watchmaking and gastronomy. Participants will have the opportunity to attend culinary demonstrations and taste unique creations—the result of a harmonious fusion of both disciplines.
