The Cartier Women’s Initiative aims to shine a light on women impact entrepreneurs and provide them with the necessary financial, social, and human capital support to grow their businesses and build their leadership skills.
From its inception, the Cartier Women’s Initiative has carried a conviction that lies at the heart of the Maison: when given the means to lead, innovate and create, women can redefine the future. The annual international program was established in 2006 by Cartier. Its mission is to empower women entrepreneurs globally by providing them with financial, social, and human capital support to scale their businesses and amplify their social and environmental impact.
For the 20th anniversary edition, Cartier welcomes 30 new fellows to the Cartier Women’s Initiative community. Representing nine regions (Latin America and the Caribbean, North America, Europe, Francophone Sub-Saharan Africa, Anglophone and Lusophone Africa, the Middle East and North Africa, East Asia, South Asia and Central Asia, and Oceania) and one thematic award (Science & Technology Pioneer Award), these 30 impact entrepreneurs will join for the awards ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand on June 10, 2026.
The Cartier Women’s Initiative provides fellows with the necessary financial, social and human capital support to help them achieve their goals and scale their impact. Rooted in mentorship, learning and personal growth, this comprehensive programme offers rigorous academic training, in-depth business coaching, executive leadership development, and essential well-being support. It effectively transforms laureates into lifelong fellows, fostering a powerful community committed to collective advancement.
In addition, the organisation announced the launch of its call for applications for the 2027 edition, opening on 16 April 2026 and closing on 16 June 2026.
