"Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without." - Confucius

Celebrating the last days of the summer, Claude Meylan presented the new Lionnes Dentelles timepiece in three versions with lively and iridescent pastel colours.

The Lionne collection is named after the river that runs in front of the manufacture at L’Abbaye, the birthplace of Claude Meylan. Throughout the years the brand has become well-known for skeletonizing high-quality ETA and Valjoux movements.

At the Geneva Watch Days, we saw the latest additions at the charming Albertine salon of the Beau Rivage Hotel. The Lionnes Dentelles – meaning lace in French – models are playing with the skeleton movement, this time in three different pastel colours.

The pink, lilac or royal blue hues are reflecting their colours differently, depending on the light. The pink and lilac models are framed by a light grey flange, while the royal blue has a contrasting white flange.

The novelties feature a delicate 35mm steel case, completed with steel mesh bracelet, technological satin or Alcantara (soft, suede-like microfibre) straps.
