Piaget is the new sponsor of the Prix Solo Art Genève-Piaget, the award that recognizes the finest artist presented at the solo section of the exhibition.
Founded in 2012, Art Genève quickly established itself as a highlight in the international art calendar. Hosted at Palexpo, the fair brings together around 80 modern and contemporary art galleries, alongside a variety of national non-commercial entities, including private collections, institutions, schools, art centers, and foundations.
From 2016 to 2025, the Solo Prize benefited from the decisive support of Swiss-French high-end manufacture d’horlogerie F.P.Journe. Now Piaget is the new sponsor of the Prize. The Maison has a longstanding tradition of supporting art, artists and artisans. This tradition began in the 1960s with Yves Piaget, who established collaborations with the greatest contemporary artists of the era, including Salvador Dali, Arman or Andy Warhol.
Within the Art Genève fair, the Piaget space, decorated by the french designer Jérémy Pradier-Jeauneau, invites visitors to highlight Andy Warhol’s relationship with Piaget through an exhibition of some of the artist’s watches and learn more about the latest Piaget Andy Warhol Watch ‘Collage’ Limited Edition.
This year, three major art world representatives are tasked with selecting the prize winner from among Art Genève galleries: Kathrin Bentel, Director of Fri-Art, Fribourg; Céline Poulin, Director of Frac Ile-de- France; and Nicolas Trembley, Exhibition Curator and Curator of the Syz Collection. One work presented at the winning stand will be acquired and enter the MAMCO Geneva collection. In this way, Piaget and Art Genève make a significant contribution to the development of the City of Geneva’s art collections.
The Art Genève takes place from January 29 to February 1st, 2026 at Palexpo, Geneva.
