Milano Watch Week is a public event dedicated to contemporary watch culture held in Milan, Italy. It brings together over 50 watch brands—including independent watchmakers and established Maisons—for three days of discovery, design, and watchmaking.
For the 2026 edition, Milano Watch Week moves to Palazzo Mezzanotte, in Piazza Affari, the historic home of the Italian Stock Exchange. In front of the building stands Maurizio Cattelan’s famous LOVE (stands for Libertà, Odio, Vendetta, Eternità – Freedom, Hatred, Revenge, Eternity) sculpture, known as “The Finger,” a symbol of the city’s bold and unmistakable character.
This edition is described as their “most ambitious” yet, positioning Milan as an international hub for watch enthusiasts outside the traditional Swiss fields. Unlike many trade-only watch events, Milano Watch Week is designed to be accessible to the public, allowing visitors to discover independent brands and special pieces in a stylish and relaxed environment – as the event describes “Living Watches in The Italian Way”.
Watch collecting has always been closely connected to Italy. From vintage collecting culture to design, tailoring, automotive aesthetics, photography, Italy helped shape the way watches are appreciated today – not only as instruments, but as objects of style and personal expression.
Milano Watch Week was created in 2024 with this spirit in mind as the event aims to reflect the wider cultural world surrounding watchmaking. Within three days, visitors can expect collaborations and experiences connecting watches with other key industries.
