Tiffany & Co. announced the debut of the newest Bird on a Pearl high jewellery capsule collection, an extraordinary reimagining of the House’s iconic Bird on a Rock, first conceived by Jean Schlumberger in 1965.
The ‘Bird on a Rock by Tiffany’ line is reimagining Jean Schlumberger’s iconic Bird on a Rock motif through the visionary lens of Nathalie Verdeille, Chief Artistic Officer of Jewellery and High Jewellery. The collection includes many designs already, also with different materials: in 2025 the House presented the Bird on a Pearl High Jewellery Capsule Collection.
For 2026, the capsule introduces a striking new design innovation: the star sapphire head for the iconic bird. Carefully selected for their unique hues and celestial star-like asterism, these beautiful sapphires are paired with complementary rare fancy color diamonds on some of the designs, meticulously integrated into the bird’s silhouette. The interplay between star sapphire and the pearl creates a sense of motion, balancing precision with poetic expression. One brooch features a pavé diamond bird with a star sapphire head perched on a white baroque natural saltwater pearl of over 18 carats.
Another remarkable piece showcases one of the collection’s largest pearls—a pendant centered on a brownish-gray baroque natural saltwater pearl of over 29 carats.
Tiffany & Co. unveiled their latest High Jewellery creations at an exclusive event in Gstaad, Switzerland.
