"Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without." - Confucius

At the beginning of the year at the public could meet the re-born Picard Cadet brand at the Geneva Time Exhibition. However they saved the introduction of the new collection for Baselworld.

The story of the brand started in 1910 when the founder Jules Picard opened the first store in Geneva. The aim of the owner – originally a jeweller- was to utilize his experiences garnered in jewellery design and production in the field of watchmaking.

Following this tradition, a jewelry watch was created for women: the Metamorphose. The rose-gold watch is set with black and white diamonds, 1113 pieces to be exact. The strap is so-called galuchat leather (leather made from sharkskin or the skin of a ray-fish). The structure of the black leather consisting of small round patterns is a perfect fit for the black-diamond embellished surface. But the real feature is the case: 4 push-buttons allow the wearer with a single click to choose between the four different faces of the watch for a setting with white or black diamonds.

The men’s model in the collection is available in stainless steel and rose gold finish and there is also a chronograph version.
