In 2019, Zenith celebrates the birth of its star, the El Primero movement. Lot 136 at the Geneva Watch Auction X is a special anniversary piece, co-designed with Phillips Watches in Association with Bacs and Russo with attributes never found on Zenith watches. The sale supports the NGO Zoé4life.

Zenith issued the Defy Inventor, the first model in series production incorporating the high-frequency monolithic silicon oscillator they had presented in 2017. The El Primero 21 also received a random-patterned carbon case for Baselworld 2019.

The Lucerne boutique of Les Ambassadeurs organised an exclusive customer event for Zenith timepieces. We saw the first birds called Zenith Defy Lab as well as this year’s other newcomer the El Primero Defy 21.
