Vacheron Constantin presents a new automatic reference limited to 100 pieces, the result of a collaboration with the French designer Ora Ito.

The Patrimony collection of Vacheron Constantin launched in 2004 celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. At Watches and Wonders 3 great novelties were released. Now the Maison concludes this celebration of the collection with a new 18K 3N yellow gold self-winding model, result of a collaboration with French designer Ora Ito

Ora Ito is working under his studio name, Ora ïto. His adventurous spirit and vision of well-known brands made him a star on the international design scene, with an impressive and diverse portfolio of clients.

The new limited edition made with ina collaboration with him has a 40 mm yellow gold case (8.55 mm thick) framing a tone-on-tone gold-coloured dial adorned with an infinite number of concentric circles catching the light. This visually simple, circular geometry spreading like a rippling wave echoes the cambered dial surface. As Ora Ito explains – ‘this circular movement of light refers to the Baily Pearls, a spectacular phenomenon that accompanies an eclipse of the sun by the moon’.

The piece is powered by the in-house self-winding Calibre 2450 with hours, minutes, seconds.
