Cartier presented the Reflection de Cartier watch earlier this year, at Watches and Wonders. Now five models are available on the Cartier website and in the boutiques.
Cartier is very well known for outstanding jewellery-meets-watchmaking creations. The Maison launched at Watches and Wonders 2024 a great number of fine jewellery timepieces. The Reflection de Cartier watch is a real statement piece among them, with five models currently. It has a distinct cuff shape in yellow gold, rose gold or white gold, the latter is set with 542 brilliant-cut diamonds, in combinations of pavé motifs and settings – snow or inverted.
The small quartz powered watch is in one of the openings of the bracelet, while the time is read backwards on the other opening of the cuff.
The high-jewellery version has also white gold bracelet but it is set not only with brilliant-cut diamonds but chrysoprase, obsidian, emeralds and Paraiba tourmalines. This model pays tribute to Louis Cartier’s ‘peacock décor’, a harmony of blue and green, surrounded here by chiselled gold.
