Patek Philippe Watch Art Grand Exhibition Milan

Patek Philippe has inaugurated its seventh WATCH ART Grand Exhibition in Milan from October 2nd to 18th, 2026, marking the largest exhibition the manufacture has ever organised.

The event takes place at CityOval (formerly Palazzo delle Scintille) in Milan’s CityLife quarter, occupying more than 2,900 square meters. Following previous editions in Dubai, Munich, London, New York, Singapore, and Tokyo—which have collectively welcomed around 225,000 visitors—Milan was chosen as Italy represents one of Patek Philippe’s most historically important markets, home to connoisseurs who deeply appreciate fine craftsmanship and design.

The exhibition presents over 500 timepieces across 15 themed areas, inviting visitors to explore the manufacture’s entire current collection, Rare Handcrafts including miniature enamel painting and hand engraving, and historical pieces loaned exceptionally from the Patek Philippe Museum in Geneva. Highlights include 80 museum pieces such as the first perpetual calendar wristwatch from 1925 and items that once belonged to notable figures like Queen Victoria and Pope Leo XIII. The event also features artisan demonstrations, a space dedicated to supercomplications including the Grandmaster Chime with 20 complications, and access to the manufacturer’s historical archives.

The Rare Handcrafts (including miniature painting on enamel, cloisonné enamel, hand engraving, micro wood marquetry, hand-executed guilloché work and gemsetting) meticulously preserved by Patek Philippe, are also on show, with a splendid array of 25 one-of-a-kind pieces and limited editions (dome clocks, table clocks, pocket watches and wristwatches) inspired by Italian culture.

Coinciding with the exhibition, Patek Philippe is launching seven limited editions specifically for the Italian market, including models inspired by Italian culture with cloisonné enamel dials depicting Milan by day and night. This marks the first time a major exhibition includes a dedicated archives room and a space for the new Gondolo Ladies First collection, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to sharing its heritage while celebrating Italian artistic tradition and innovation.
